Gracie is not at the shelter--she is in our rescue program. You can MEET GRACIE at the Walk for Paws, from 11:00-2:00 this Saturday, Oct 11 at Lake Elkhorn in Columbia. Please use the contact info above or below. Gracie is a SWEEEEEEET young adult pit bull who weighs about 58 pounds. She appears to be extremely housetrained. She loves to go for walks and is thrilled with any attention she gets. Like most of the bully breeds, Gracie will be a loyal and devoted companion--she has bonded closely with the kennel personnel who feed her and give her some petting, and we feel certain she will do the same with the people who step forward to adopt her.
She loves people of all ages, and is not reactive with other dogs. Cats probably won't work--they look like toys to Miss Gracie.
After a walk, Gracie settles down on your lap and gives kisses. Many people have suggested she is mixed with Boxer, who knows? All we are certain of is that she has a solid temperament with people and will make a great dog for someone who can handle a young strong girl, and who wants a good companion.
